Android Fitness & Weight Loss Apps Q2 2024: U.S. Market Performance

Sensor Tower's data provides a comprehensive look into the U.S. market performance of top Android fitness and weight loss applications during the second quarter of 2024. Here's how the leading apps fared.

BetterMe: Health Coaching observed a fluctuating download trend, starting the quarter with 7K downloads and dipping to 3K by the end. Weekly active users peaked at 27K in the first week but saw a downward trend, settling at around 17K users by the end of the quarter. Revenue also saw a decline from $2.5K to around $2.3K.

Kompanion Intermittent Fasting showed an impressive growth in downloads, starting at 4K and reaching nearly 8K by June. Weekly active users increased from 56K to 62K, indicating strong user retention. The revenue trend for Kompanion was relatively stable, with a notable peak of $2.6K in early May.

Fitify: Fitness, Home Workout also displayed a positive trajectory, with downloads growing from 3K to over 8K. Weekly active users climbed steadily from 11K to over 20K, highlighting a successful quarter. Revenue followed suit, enhancing from $914 to $3K.

YAZIO Food & Calorie Counter saw downloads more than triple, from 1K to nearly 5K. Weekly active users showed a substantial increase from 30K to 44K. Revenue trends were healthy, growing from $898 to $1.7K.

Freeletics: Fitness Workouts, while having the smallest figures, still showed growth. Downloads nearly doubled, and weekly active users increased, though moderately, from 1.4K to 1.5K. Revenue remained below $1K but showed resilience with a slight uptick towards the end of the quarter.
